What is the Frank Martin Platform?

A user-friendly, digital social platform for musicians, programmers, musicologists, and all others interested in the music, writings and life of the composer Frank Martin (1890-1974).

The Frank Martin Platform is not only a rich source of information but also a meeting place, which includes a library, news section, and workspaces enabling users to communicate, exchange, and search for information. Apps provide additional functionality. Use your desktop, tablet or mobile and your favourite browser for easy and free access to the Platform!

What does the Frank Martin Platform offer?

  • Supplementary information on Frank Martin (searchable, including English translations of his own writings on composing and all his composer’s notes; material in languages other than English is also available);
  • copy-protected scores of all works;
  • Hundreds of downloadable high-resolution photos for programme notes, publications, etc.;
  • the opportunity to exchange ideas with the Frank Martin Society;
  • the possibility to contact other users about all matters concerning Frank Martin, e.g. concerts, projects or research;
  • workspaces to store documents and utilise a video conference room, e.g. relating to concerts, projects or research;
  • a number of apps (advertisements, calendar, address book etc.) facilitate communication with other users and with partners collaborating with the Frank Martin Stichting.

How can I join the Frank Martin Platform? 

To join the Frank Martin Platform, please contact pr@frankmartin.org. You will receive an account with your username (the first letter of your first name + surname, e.g. fmartin); you will then be requested by email to confirm your account by setting your initial password. You can only register under your own name, but your private email address can be hidden from other users.
